FGFS SF – GASSED UP & MASKED UP

December 2, 2020

Tomorrow morning we’re dropping the video from this day so I figured I’d share some photos prior to its release. Shout out to all the homies here in San Francisco who have been a pillar of strength and support for both me and each other over the years. I can’t imagine where we’d be if it wasn’t for these bikes we ride and the good times we have because of it. It’s truly a cornerstone to which this house was built.

The squad continues to grow and so does our group chat which blows up 70% of the day. Haha. It’s a beautiful thing. Anthony Combs came out and brought with him his yellow Grime G.O.A.T build which is a staple in the FGFS frame lineage and a true blast from the past. Joshua Boothby came out of retirement and his riding makes it look like he never left. Josh Silva did donuts and jumped over his car at one point. Jimmy Watcha came through with the quick-hitting combos at 3rd & Army. And Andy Sparks laid down some of his signature moves in his even more signature attire. Anyways, keep your eyes peeled for the video release and we’ll catch you next time. Be good.

FGFS SF – BIDO IN TOWN

November 30, 2020

The homie BIDO made his way from NYC to SF to ride bikes and kick it with us here in The Bay. We roamed around, shot some photos and saw a sight or two. It’s always great when someone from outta town comes to visit.

I’ve been wanting to shoot this fisheye photo looking up on the 400 block of California Street for a while now and I’m glad Bido was here so we could finally make it happen. His hotel was right around the corner so it seemed like both a great way to start the day and something that we just had to do. Thank you for teaming up with me to bring that idea to life. I’m always looking for spots where the buildings converge in a nice way. I love composing shots with the fisheye.

Anyways, shout out to the homie and I look forward to the next time that we get to ride. Hopefully, it’ll be in NYC soon. Until then. ✌️

FGFS SAN FRANCISCO – BAD BOYS DOING GOOD

November 30, 2020

We’re here for a good time, not a long time. Nobody knows how much time we get on this earth, so take advantage and appreciate every moment of it. Spend it wisely. Better yet, spend it with friends. Help each other grow and inspire others to live a life full of joy. I’ve been making posts of the photos from this day and now it has me stoked to assemble the video. Major thanks to everyone for coming out, helping out, and always being a pleasure to be around. Y’all the real MVP’s.

FIXED GEAR SF – ANDY SPARKS + MUNI

November 30, 2020

MUNI. San Francisco MUNI to be exact. If you know, you know, and if you’re local it probably holds a special place in your heart. Whether it’s because of the function it performs or purely based on its aesthetic the MUNI is loved by all here in the Bay Area.

A few weeks ago I met up with ANDY SPARKS & the gang in downtown SF. We roamed around for a bit and at the end of the day, we found ourselves at the MUNI bus depot. I teamed up with Andy to shoot these shots of him threading the needle between a couple of parked busses. After we were finished, he told me about how his Dad worked as a Driver for MUNI. He shared some stories, and we talked about the honor of serving the public in this way. Always thank your bus driver. Be good and we’ll see you out there. Until next time. ✌️

FGFS LA – MARCO MARQUEZ (LVL UP)

October 21, 2020

Marco Marquez just raised the bar on what it means to ride Fixed Gear Freestyle. The sheer power and responsiveness to his riding style is completely outta hand. Marco has clearly been riding for a while but has been under the radar for far too long. I was originally going to make a group edit, but this deserves to live on its own.
